Ambassador to appear at rendezvous

11.01 | 25 March 2009 |

RideSafe BackSafe ambassador Steve Berry will appear at the 2009 RideSafe Rendezvous to promote road safety and rider skills training.

The former Top Gear celebrity will meet thousands of motorcyclists at the free one-day show, which is being supported by the Highways Agency, local training schools, dealerships and motorcycling representative bodies.

RideSafe BackSafe’s Shelby Williams says: “We want to provide bikers with an entertaining day out and easy access to information about skills training through industry experts.“

A new feature will be a free ‘test ride your skills’ challenge offering learner riders the chance to complete a rehearsal of the new motorcycle test – and challenging full licence holders to see if they still make the grade.

The fourth annual RideSafe Rendezvous will be held at St Chad’s Headland in Blackpool on Sunday 19 April.
