BT community program re-launched

British Telecommunications (BT) has re-launched its Family and Friends road safety program to coincide with Road Safety Week.

Many road collisions happen close to home, often where we live and work. This means that safety in the workplace can also have a major impact on the community.

Now in its fifth year of operation, BT’s program aims to raise awareness of this issue. Family and Friends asks BT employees to take road safety home with them, and to engage their family in driving safely at all times.

BT has also re-launched the award-winning online driver training module One More Second for family members, friends and employees. The campaign encourages employees to ask their family and friends if they have a valid driving licence, if they have read the Highway Code recently, and if they drive carefully at all times.
