Calderdale’s Christmas safety countdown

16.05 | 21 December 2010 | | 4 comments

Calderdale Safer Roads Group is using an advent calendar style poster with the theme of the 12 days of Christmas to convey road safety advice for the festive period.

The poster offers advice such as: ‘Don’t drink or take drugs and drive’, ‘Always wear a seatbelt’, ‘Stay within speed limits’ and ‘Switch your mobile phone off’’.

The poster has been so well received that the Safer Roads Group is going to reproduce it as an actual advent calendar for distribution to schools, businesses and community groups for Christmas 2011/12.

For more information contact David Short from Calderdale Council on 01422 392142.

Hi Stuart, as we have conversed on e mail, this is only a visual representation for the Road Safety Gb web site. The actual poster is much bigger and very clear as per the pdf I sent you.

I like the idea. I would be interested to know if you had any feedback on its readability though?
