Campaign encourages drivers to ‘Engage Your Brain’

Medway Council’s Safer Journeys Team has launched the second phase of its ‘Engage Your Brain’ campaign.

Engage Your Brain is a partnership campaign led by Medway Council that aims to reduce crashes and casualties by reminding people to engage their brains and stay road aware.

The launch was hosted by the local radio station, KMFM, with presenters giving visitors the chance to win a ‘zorbing’ experience by answering road safety questions.

The Safer Journeys Team gave out bubble and brain related promotional goodies to tie in with the campaign theme – that everyday thoughts (represented by mind bubbles) can blind us and hinder our concentration when travelling. Posters featuring thought bubbles are also being used across Medway.
