FIA Foundation scoops premier road safety award

The FIA Foundation won the Premier Award at the 2009 Prince Michael International Awards ceremony for its advocacy role in promoting global road safety.

The award was presented by HRH Prince Michael of Kent to FIA Foundation director general David Ward in London on 8 December,

Other awards presented included a special award to the vehicle manufacturer Volvo and awards to a number of local authority and road safety partnerships.
