The Fringe programme at the National Road Safety Conference 2026 comprises a record 29 presentations covering a wide range of road safety related topics.
The National Road Safety Conference (NRSC) is Road Safety GB’s flagship event, with the 2026 edition – the 16th – being held at The Queens Hotel, Leeds on 24-25 November 2026. It is sponsored by GEM Motoring Assist, Jenoptik, SmartStart, Waymo and Westcotec.
For the past three years around 400 road safety professionals have attended, a mix of local authority road safety managers/officers, police and fire & rescue officers.
The conference comprises a Main programme, Fringe programme and a series of Workshops. NRSC 2026 features a total of around 80 presentations and workshops.
More than 300 road safety professionals have already registered to attend NRSC 2026, and 27 organisations will participate in the exhibition that runs alongside the conference.

The Fringe at NRSC 2026 comprises three presentations focusing on interventions to support safer cycling, four covering practical solutions to educate powered two wheeler riders , five focusing on public health and fitness to drive, four looking at effective interventions aimed at reducing impairment-related road risk and 13 presentations delivered in three sessions covering other road safety related topics.
