IRSO 2010 to evaluate road safety schemes

09.43 | 16 October 2009 |

The Institute of Road Safety Officers (IRSO) national conference in July 2010 will address the issue of evaluating road safety education, training and publicity schemes.

The conference will be organised by Integrated Transport Planning (ITP) – the first time that IRSO has outsourced its flagship event.

Sponsored by Transport for London and supported by Publications UK, the RAC Foundation, ITP and AIRSO, the one and a half day conference will bring together industry experts to help road safety practitioners develop a toolkit of techniques for assessing the impact of education, training and publicity activities.

Delegates will take away a range of techniques to suit all budgets that enable them to ensure that monitoring and evaluation is integral to the development of road safety ETP projects.

IRSO 2010 will be held 1-2 July 2010 at Royal Holloway, the University of London.

Further information can be obtained from www.irso.org.uk or by calling Darren Divall on 0115 988 6904.
