Final preparations are underway ahead of the 2021 Road Safety GB National Analysts Conference, which takes place next week.

Organised by Road Safety GB in partnership with Agilysis, the sixth edition of ‘Joining the Dots’ is being staged virtually on 2-3 March, the first time it has been held in this format.

The new, online offering has not deterred registrations, with a record number of attendees already signed up.

Delegate registration remains open, with individual ticket prices starting at £75 for Road Safety GB and MAST members.

The agenda comprises a mixture of live and pre-recorded content, with the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the speakers.

It features a total of six plenary sessions with themes covering COVID-19 response, active travel, collision investigation, vision zero, and showcases from local practitioners.

The 27 speakers include:

  • Baroness Vere, roads minister
  • Bertrand Deiss, head of road safety policy, Transport Scotland
  • David Davies, executive director, PACTS
  • George Yannis, NTU Athens School of Civil Engineering

The organisers said: “In a year of unprecedented challenge and change, the RSGB National Analysts Conference has moved online.

“By embracing a new format we have been able to deliver more content and facilitate more interactivity, with a wide range of topics suitable for all road safety professionals, not just the analysts.”
