LAPC produces alcohol advice leaflet

08.22 | 23 March 2010 |

THE London Accident Prevention Council (LAPC) has published a leaflet providing information and advice about alcohol and young road users.

The leaflet is designed to raise awareness among parents and carers about the fact that young people are more vulnerable to serious injury when alcohol is consumed. It outlines the facts and risks that alcohol poses to their safety and health.

LAPC says the ‘Alcohol and Young Road Users’ leaflet can be used to complement advertising and educational campaigns ‘by providing an informative means to help address this rising issue of concern’.

The leaflet is available for road safety teams to purchase at a cost of 5p per copy (VAT exempt) plus postage and packing. The minimum order quantity is 250.

To see a copy of the leaflet go to: www.lapc.org.uk/campaign.html

To place an order, or for more information, contact Carol Walker, LAPC administrator.
