A late surge of delegate registrations means that more than 225 people will attend the 2010 Road Safety GB conference and exhibition, which takes place 16-17 November.

The annual conference is being hosted this year by Road Safety GB Mercia region and is being held at Chesford Grange, nr Kenilworth in Warwickshire. The event is being sponsored by RSS in association with Colas and Enterprise.

The attendees total includes residential delegates, day delegates, speakers and exhibitors.

Mike Penning’s office has confirmed that the road safety minister will deliver the keynote address on 16 November. Mr Penning is also likely to attend the buffet lunch prior to the conference in order to meet delegates informally.

While all the accommodation at Chesford Grange is now allocated, there is overflow accommodation at a nearby hotel, which means it is still possible to book to attend either as a redidential delegate or day delegate.
