Liverpool launches road safety at work pilot

Liverpool’s road safety team has launched a road safety at work campaign to provide information for employees that use a vehicle for business.

The campaign aims to highlight joint employer and employee responsibilities with regard to current legalisation, and provide an overview of best practice for driving for work.

Held at the business premises, the road safety team delivers a 30-minute session covering the causes of road incidents, employee risk categories, tips to improve safety and alternatives to using a vehicle.

The campaign targets public and private sector employees and will be evaluated at the end of the current financial year.
