LTPN to host road safety best practice web event

The Local Transport Planning Network (LTPN) is hosting a web event next week showcasing best practice in local road safety strategy.

The forum will take place on Tuesday 28 July, 10.00am – 12.00pm, and will feature the work of some of the local authorities short-listed for the 2009 National Transport Awards, which will be presented on 22 July.

Robert Gifford, director, PACTS, will facilitate the forum and the local authority ‘expert’ panel will comprise Stuart Hallett (Norfolk CC), Francis Ashton (Nottingham CC) and Sheila Moules (City of London).

To take part log onto the web event via the LTPN site, www.ltpnetwork.gov.uk, and then create a user name and password by registering on the site.
