The booking process for the 2026 National Road Safety Conference is now open, with a discounted rate available for Road Safety GB members.
The National Road Safety Conference (NRSC) is Road Safety GB’s flagship event, with the 2026 edition – the 16th – being held at The Queens Hotel, Leeds on 24-25 November 2026. For the past three years around 400 road safety professionals have attended, a mix of local authority road safety managers/officers, police and fire & rescue officers.
The conference typically comprises a Main programme, Fringe programme and a series of Workshops. NRSC 2025 featured a total of around 90 presentations and workshops.

The organising committee last week issued a call for papers, giving details of the topics it is hoping to cover at NRSC 2026. Where possible, the committee is seeking practical presentations with information and ideas that road safety professionals can take away and apply to their day-to-day casualty reduction work.
Early bird places snapped up
Road Safety GB launched the 2026 conference on Wednesday, with an early bird offer to Road Safety GB members. These tickets sold out within 48 hours, reflecting the popularity of the event.
Road Safety GB/Academy members can still enjoy a discounted rate for the event, with the full residential package costing £540 plus VAT – compared to £675 plus VAT for non-members.
The residential fee includes all conference sessions, lunch and other refreshments during both days, overnight accommodation and the conference dinner on the evening of Tuesday 24 November.
