What’s happening on the final day of Project EDWARD?
Sadly, tomorrow is the final day of the Project EDWARD week of action. So much has taken place during the last four days – but it is not over yet.

Tomorrow, the three road trips complete their journeys.

Car one arrives in Heston, where the PE team will be meeting the emergency services who work together under the National Highways CLEAR programme.

They will explain how they clear a serious road traffic accident as quickly and safely as possible to ensure the fastest post-crash care for casualties and to get other traffic on their way.

Car three will be at a motorway service area in Durham for a public engagement event with Durham County Council and their road safety partners. One of the cabs from the National Highways Operation Tramline project will be also be patrolling locally and joining the event.

The itinerary for car two remains TBC…
