Project EDWARD is inviting road safety colleagues to join the first of its four webinars on the topic of speed management, produced with the support of RedSpeed International.
The webinar, which takes place via Teams on Wednesday 12 March at 2pm, will consider the vital role of communications and getting those messages right in order to reduce risk.
The event brings together communications specialists from across the sector, including:
- Emma Kelly, Road Safety Support
- Jon Robertson, UKROEd
- Rebecca Morris, Vision Zero Communications
- Chris Spinks, Westcotec
- Fay Cannon, Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership
Speed is a key risk factor in road traffic injuries, influencing both the likelihood of crashes and the severity of resulting injuries. Speed management and effective communication in public awareness campaigns are therefore critical components of improving road safety. In this webinar panellists will seek to explain and explore their importance and interrelation, drawing on examples of replicable good practice.
The event will be hosted by James Luckhurst.
