Delegate registration for this year’s Driving Instructor Convention is now open, with the agenda featuring an array of top trainers and respected industry professionals.

Described as the UK’s premier one-day conference, the Driving Instructor Convention is jointly organised by Intelligent Instructor and the ADINJC.

The event takes place at Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre, Staffordshire, on Sunday 12 May 2024.

The agenda comprises a mix of in-depth presentations and engaging workshops. It is said each session will dovetail one another seamlessly in a high-energy, fast-paced day of continuous learning, helping driving instructors develop new skills to become better trainers.

Around 200 instructors are anticipated to attend this round table event, all of whom will earn a CPD certificate.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Alisha Khan, Driving Test Success – The road to one million social media followers
  •  Dr Elizabeth Box, RAC Foundation – DriveFit: A road safety education intervention supporting future drivers
  • Ian Edwards, New View Consultants – Young drivers impulsivity and road safety
  • Lynne Barrie, ADINJC – Facilitated session: How well do you know yourself?
  • Meera Naran MBE, road safety campaigner – Motivational speaker: How to find hope and never give up
  • Olly Tayler QPM, The Honest Truth – The importance of delivering road safety within lessons

Meanwhile, a dedicated expo area will enable attendees to interact with 25+ industry suppliers.

Delegate registration is now open – and there is also the option to attend a networking dinner the night before.

The organisers are encouraging road safety professionals to share the event with their ADI networks.
