Road Safety GB has announced that it is seeking to recruit a full time business and operations manager to run the organisation on a day-to-day basis.
The new manager will be appointed on a full time basis and will also assume day-to-day responsibility for Road Safety GB’s academic and training arm, the Academy.
Honor Byford, chair of Road Safety GB, said: “Road Safety GB currently operates through a structure of volunteers who provide their time with the support of their local authority.
“However, in the past few years our organisation has grown to the point where we feel we now need a manager to fully focus on the requirements of Road Safety GB and the Academy on a day-to-day basis.
“We are looking for someone with strong business and leadership skills who has the ability to develop our organisation.
“The role will include developing our business strategy and creating a delivery plan to ensure we position ourselves to meet the needs of our members, and also to ensure we develop and grow as a business in these challenging economic times.
“This is a challenging, hands-on role in an ambitious organisation aiming to increase its scale and impact.
“We look forward to hearing from candidates who feel they have the skills and drive to help move Road Safety GB forward.”
The closing date for applications is Friday 21 February, with interviews in London on 28 February.
