Road safety service announced

An industrial chaplain based in Andover is to hold a road safety service on Sunday 1 March, in partnership with Hampshire’s road safety team.

Reverend Dr Derek Overfield says: “One of my roles is to build bridges between the faith communities and the world of work. One of the ways I do this is by organising a series of church services, each one ‘aimed’ at a particular sector of the working community. The service is totally ecumenical and well-supported by people of the Christian faith and people of no faith.”

The service will be held at Andover United Reformed Church, East Street, Andover.

For further information contact Ernie Sage, road safety services manager.
