Spotlight on social media at National Conference

12.00 | 29 August 2014 |

The latest confirmed presentation for the 2014 National Road Safety Conference in November will provide an overview of the UK social media landscape and the role that social media could play in disseminating road safety information.

The presentation will be delivered by Lee Langford, research director at Harris Interactive, who has worked with many of the world’s top brands, helping them to turn data into commercial insights.

Lee has worked in market research for 25 years, including spells at Kantar and Ipsos-MORI, and now specialises in the technology sector with a particular emphasis on social media.

Lee will present an overview of SocialLife, Harris Interactive’s survey that tracks which social platforms the UK public are using right now, which are gaining and losing popularity and how and why people are using social media. The role that social media currently plays and could play in road/public safety information will also be explored.
