Walsall campaign focuses on driving the morning after drinking

11.49 | 8 December 2010 |

Walsall road safety team’s winter drink drive campaign, ‘Morning Breath’, highlights the potential dangers of driving the morning after drinking.

An information booklet focusing on the risk motorists take by driving the morning after drinking has also been produced as part of the campaign.

The campaign is based on the premise that many drivers are responsible and take a cab home but fail to realise how long it takes alcohol to leave the blood stream.

The team has also launched a Facebook page, ‘Road Safety in Walsall‘, where the countdown to Christmas and beyond has begun.
