The Norfolk-based road safety technology firm Westcotec has announced a new partnership with Jenoptik that will offer a more streamlined process for equipment procurement.
Jenoptik’s road safety solutions are typically based on automatic number plate recognition technology (ANPR), covering a diverse range of real-world applications for the traffic law enforcement and civil security markets.
Through the new partnership, Jenoptik will offer Westcotec products to its customers using Lot 3 – Transport Signage and Lighting of the Crown Commercial Service Transport Technology and Associated Services Framework (TTAS).
Olly Samways, Westcotec head of sales, said: “Westcotec and Jenoptik have developed an excellent working relationship over recent years, supporting each other’s complementary road safety solutions.
“This partnership is great news for many of Jenoptik’s public sector customers, as any local authority that requires products to be on a framework agreement prior to purchase (usually stated through their procurement rules) will now be able to procure Westcotec equipment through Jenoptik, ensuring the process is faster and simpler.
“We look forward to developing this collaboration in the months and years to come.”
