The 2009 LARSOA national conference will be hosted by LARSOA Eastern Region in Cambridge, 12-13 November 2009.
The 2009 event will look to build on the success of the inaugural LARSOA national conference, which was held in Durham last November and hailed an unqualified success by delegates.
The conference team is in the process of putting together an itinerary and speakers and full details will be announced during April 2009.
However, based on feedback from delegates who attended last year, two themes to be covered during the conference will be ‘influencing driver behaviour’ and ‘vulnerable road users’.
The venue for the conference is the four-star University Arms, which is superbly located overlooking Parker’s Piece in the heart of historic Cambridge.
The full delegate fee of £235 plus VAT includes all the conference sessions, conference dinner and entertainment, accommodation with bed & breakfast, and lunch and refreshments throughout the two days.
While bookings are not being taken yet, people are invited to ‘register their interest’ on the conference website. Anyone who does so will be alerted as soon as the registration process goes live.
There will also be opportunities for commercial organisations to become involved in the event through sponsorship and/or a tabletop exhibition.
