Tom Mullarkey, RoSPA’s chief executive, has been interviewed about road safety by LocalGovTV, the Internet television channel for senior executives in the public sector.
The interview focused on how local authorities can develop effective road safety strategies and Tom Mullarkey outlined some of the current challenges they face.
He also talked about ways of encouraging safe and responsible driving and introduced RoSPA’s campaign for the UK to adopt Single Double Summer Time – a move which would reduce the number of people killed and injured on the roads during dark, winter evenings.
