The West Midlands Casualty Reduction Scheme (WMCRS) will organise a new free, one-day bike show in Birmingham this summer.

‘On two wheels’ will offer a range of entertainment, demonstrations, retailers and activities, with an underlying theme of improving rider safety.

The aim of the event is to encourage safer riding and encourage motorcyclists to participate in the day’s free activities, take expert advice, book post-show training courses and improve their own riding skills.

Lisa Newmarsh, WMCRS support manager, said: “No ‘shock tactics’ or ‘finger-wagging’ will be used at this event.

“Motorcycling enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a great day of entertainment as well as having easy access to riding instructors, BikeSafe assessors, dealers, manufacturers and other experts.”

On two wheels will be held at St Andrew’s Stadium, Birmingham City Football Club on Sunday 18 July.

Hope all goes well. Went to the ridesafe backsafe at Blackpool recently and it was well attended. Would like to see it grow more at that site.
