Conference delegates promised ‘smile on their face and tools for the future’

A presentation examining the role that neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) can play in road safety practitioner training promises to be one of the highlights of the 2011 Road Safety GB National Conference.

The conference is being hosted by Road Safety GB North West region and is co-sponsored by Colas, Hermes and Siemens. It is being held at The Queen Hotel in Chester, 15-16 November 2011.

The NLP presentation will be delivered by Garry Shoreman of Oakridge Training, a highly accomplished management development trainer with more than 10 years’ experience. His passion is developing individuals and helping them achieve their full potential.

Among other things, his presentation will show ‘how we use the language of our mind to achieve our goals’, and how this can be applied to road safety.

Garry guarantees that people will learn something about themselves from his presentation – and that they will have a smile on their face and some tools to use in the future. The 180 people who have already registered to attend the conference will be holding Garry to his promise!

There are still places available for people wishing to attend, and a small number of places available at the exhibition that runs alongside the conference. The cost to attend is just £250 plus VAT for Road Safety GB members (covers conference, accommodation, dinner and refreshments) and the cost to exhibit starts at just £395 + VAT.
