Thanks for putting this on as an item. Please note, as Honor Byford mentions, that this is one of many services around the country. My comment on the recent “Lost Soles” item gives details of the Liverpool remembrance. Full details of services around the country can be found by going to the RoadPeace website on roadpeace.org

There will be services at a number of churches and cathedrals around the country and even internationally – this excellent and helpful service of acknowledgement for road casualty victimes and their families and friends is really catching on. Here in North Yorkshire, our local service will be at Ripon Cathedral, on Sunday 18th November, starting at 3.00pm with an opportunity for a chat and a cup of tea afterwards.
If you google Oak Leaf Service you’ll find details of the nearest service to where you live. If there isn’t one, why not ask your local church to help you organise one for next year? Always a very moving occasion and a timely and encouraging reminder of why we all do what we do in road safety.
