Safety: Is it a public health thing? (webinar – free to attend)
Organised by Claremont Communications • Delivered via Microsoft Teams
Traditionally, safety has focused on enforcement, engineering, and education. But what happens when we apply public health principles — like prevention, evidence and data-driven approaches, equity, and systems thinking—to safety challenges? Public health approaches can offer powerful tools to address root causes, shift risky behaviours, and create environments where safety is built in by design, not just enforced after the fact. This webinar will explore these principles and hear from leading thinkers and practitioners who are bringing to bear public health approaches in their safety campaigns and interventions.
