This NPCC operation focuses on the safety of two vulnerable road user groups: cyclists and motorcyclists. Forces will be engaging with riders about increasing safety and visibility and to promote safer behaviour amongst all road users when sharing the road space.

The 2nd Annual Future Transport Forum

ITAI Crash Demonstration Day 2024
Organised by Passive Safety UK • Darley Moor, Derbyshire
June 2024 sees the return of this successful crash research and demonstration day, where 500 attendees or more will be able to view for free several staged crashes. In particular this year we will be demonstrating collisions with roadside items such as a Lattix Mast, a Steel Communication/Signals Cabinet and a Telegraph Pole. We also expect to make available several ‘audience participation’ events, such as drive through demonstrations and vehicle technology experiences.

Advanced Child Seat Safety Training

This new Advanced Child Seat Training Programme has been developed with funding from the DfT and is the result of joint collaboration with leading industry experts in child seat and vehicle manufacture, retail and road safety. It includes both theory and extensive hands-on practical with 50+ child seat models, test rigs, multiple training dolls and vehicles. A limited number of free places are available for road safety teams, police, fire & rescue and public sector.
