Around 200 delegates will attend the 2009 annual Road Safety GB national conference, which is now sold out.

The conference, which is being hosted by Road Safety GB Eastern Region and sponsored by the Highways Agency and dbda, will be held at the University Arms, Cambridge, Thursday 12 & Friday 13 November 2009.

The tabletop exhibition that will run alongside the conference is also sold out.

Nick Rawlings, who is organising the conference on behalf of Road Safety GB Eastern Region, said: “Everyone is delighted, and perhaps pleasantly surprised, by the demand for places at the conference.

“Initially we planned for around 150 attendees but have comfortably exceeded that number.

“We have delegates coming from as far afield as the United Arab Emirates, Malta and Ireland and all parts of the United Kingdom.”
