a2om provides ‘more for less’ for young drivers

15.31 | 26 November 2010 |

a2om’s Drive iQ team is stepping up support for young drivers by offering free software to help them prepare for the theory and hazard test.

To date, more than 11,000 users have registered to use Drive iQ software. 2,200 schools and colleges are also involved, with many incorporating Drive iQ modules within the PHSE/Enrichment curriculum. Additional support is provided by more than 1,000 Drive iQ PRO coaches who deliver the on-road element.

Drive iQ software achievers are awarded a Certificate in Driving Awareness, and Drive iQ PRO graduates, who complete the on-road element, are awarded an Edexcel approved a2om BTEC in Driving Science. Both qualifications are suitable for a Record of Achievement and CV.

Drive iQ has also combined forces with insurance underwriters Markerstudy to offer Drive iQ PRO students and graduates an insurance product which is showing discounts of around £400-500. The cost of the Drive iQ PRO course has also been reduced to £150.
