Campaign urges employers to ‘Stay On Track’

14.02 | 25 March 2009 |

Brake’s Fleet Safety Forum is urging employers to keep their drivers focussed through a new campaign called ‘Stay On Track’.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of crashes caused by driver distractions and provide employers with tools to eliminate distractions such as hands-free phones, eating and drinking, sat nav and radio controls.

Employers can attend a low-cost seminar in Bracknell on 18 March, which will include presentations from academics from TRL and the fleet operator 3m, which has banned hands-free phones in its fleet.
