CAPT seeks help to develop online toolkit

16.30 | 14 December 2010 |

The Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) is asking for assistance from RSOs to help develop a new online toolkit.

CAPT believes that some of the best road safety responses come about when communities recognise the important role they can play. The charity is asking road safety professionals to complete a brief online survey about their experiences in engaging community-based organisations to help tackle road safety.

The online toolkit that CAPT plans to develop will encourage community groups to get involved in preventing child road deaths and injuries, by creating partnerships with relevant local agencies, such as road safety teams.

The toolkit will be made available via the CAPT website for RSOs and others to download, distribute and use as appropriate.
