COW, the film designed to stop people texting while driving, will be shown in full on BBC 2 Wales on Monday 2 November at 10.00pm.
The dramatised depiction of the dangers of texting while driving, previously reported in Road Safety News on 2 September, has received millions of hits on websites worldwide.
Originally developed by Tredegar Comprehensive School, Gwent Police and Brynmawr filmmaker Peter Watkins-Hughes, this is the film’s world TV premiere.
BBC 2 Wales is available on Sky Channel 991.
This film is a must and should be made available to all schools and also to ALL who drive, every day I see at least three or four drivers holding a mobile phone to their ears, they think that they can get away with it and not be prosecuted, but do they even think about the safety of others around them ?

Amazing piece of work by Gwent police and all concerned. If you haven’t seen it – make sure you do.
