‘COW’ film to be aired on BBC Wales

COW, the film designed to stop people texting while driving, will be shown in full on BBC 2 Wales on Monday 2 November at 10.00pm. 

The dramatised depiction of the dangers of texting while driving,  previously reported in Road Safety News on 2 September, has received millions of hits on websites worldwide.

Originally developed by Tredegar Comprehensive School, Gwent Police and Brynmawr filmmaker Peter Watkins-Hughes, this is the film’s world TV premiere.

BBC 2 Wales is available on Sky Channel 991.

    This film is a must and should be made available to all schools and also to ALL who drive, every day I see at least three or four drivers holding a mobile phone to their ears, they think that they can get away with it and not be prosecuted, but do they even think about the safety of others around them ?
