Deadline approaches for free i-Size leaflets

The deadline for road safety teams to order 50 free copies of an i-Size information leaflet is this coming Friday 26 July.

The new i-Size safety regulations for child car seats came into force on 9 July. i-Size is designed to improve the safety of children by keeping them facing rearwards for longer. i-Size grades seats based on a child’s height and weight and is designed to be more accurate than the previous system.

A partnership comprising Good Egg Safety and TRL has produced free information for parents and road safety professionals to help explain the new regulations.

Doug Sherriffs, creative director of the Good Egg Safety team, said: “We’ve had a positive response from road safety professionals requesting their free parent leaflets.

“Thanks to generous support from the Arnold Clark Group, and information provided by our friends at TRL, these parent leaflets are being offered to road safety professionals to provide accessible information on the benefits of the new i-Size regulation, which include keeping children rearward facing for longer and the regulation of side impact protection on all new i-Size child car seats.

“The parent leaflets are about to go into production and will be distributed in the coming weeks.”
