The Driving Standard Agency (DSA) has launched a range of iPhone apps, available on iTunes, to enable candidates to ‘practice on the go’.

The apps encourage candidates to follow a three-step process in preparation for their test: study, practice and mock test. The apps include the full DSA explanation for every answer and references to the source materials where candidates can find out more for complete test preparation.

Rosemary Thew, DSA chief executive, said: “A lot of work has gone into making these apps the most comprehensive on the market. We are confident that they will provide learners with the knowledge and understanding they will need to drive safely throughout their lives.”

The apps are suitable for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and are currently available from iTunes for the discounted price of £2.99.
