Event seeks support of road safety organisations

Organisers of a one-day event taking place in the North West later this year are looking for road safety organisations to take part by delivering fun and educational activities.

Organised by FreshDriversUK and Racing4RoadSafety, the event is being held at the Mazuma Stadium, Morecambe on 22 October.

It aims to appeal to families and deliver important messages in the lead up to the winter period.

In the lead up to the event, organisers are appealing to road safety organisations to exhibit – free of charge – for the benefit of attendees.

It is hoped that the event, which has the support of National Highways, can be replicated across the North West region and in the future, nationally.

FreshDriversUK is a CIC which promotes safer driving messages to young and new drivers. Racing4RoadSafety is a venture set up by Westcotec’s Olly Samways – himself an amateur racing driver.
