With the first 50 subsidised places having been snapped up, the organisers of the 2012 Road Safety GB national conference and exhibition have released the final batch of 25 subsidised places for Road Safety GB members.
The full residential delegate rate for Road Safety GB members has been set at £295 plus VAT, which includes all conference sessions, overnight accommodation, the conference dinner and all other refreshments across the two-day event.
However, a further 25 places have been set aside for Road Safety GB members at the heavily subsidised rate of just £175 plus VAT. These places will be allocated on a strictly first come, first served basis.
Christine Fitzgerald, spokesperson for the Road Safety GB London conference committee, said: “We opened the delegate booking process as early as possible to enable people to pay for their conference place from 2011/12 budgets should they wish to do so, and the first 50 places went very quickly.
“We understand that for some it may prove difficult to obtain authorisation to attend without themes and an agenda in place, but we can assure people that the conference will take a similar format to previous years. We will be covering a wide range of road safety themes and topics, rather than focusing on one or a small number of issues.
“When the themes are published, hopefully during February, people who have booked early will have the opportunity to cancel without penalty should they wish to do so.”
