The drama group Theatre& will showcase its work at a special performance for delegates attending the annual Road Safety GB conference.

The conference is being hosted by Road Safety GB Mercia region and sponsored by RSS is association with Colas and Enterprise. The event is being held at Chesford Grange, nr Kenilworth 16-17 November and more than 190 people have already registered to attend, including residential and day delegates, speakers and exhibitors.

Theatre& uses drama-based communications to deliver training, increase awareness and help change attitudes in organisations and schools nationwide. At the conference the company will perform an extract from presentations and workshops it has created as part of Warwickshire road safety team’s ‘Go Safely’ scheme for 10-11 year olds.

The extract demonstrates safe behaviour and the potential dangers if this is not followed. The objective is to leave Year 6 students with clear recollections of positive road safety messages that will help them get to school safely.

The performance will be an optional additional feature at the end of conference day 1 (16 November).
