Good Egg Safety is marking the launch of updated versions of two of its road safety guides with a special price for road safety teams and a competition for drivers to win a new Fiat 500.

The two guides – The Good Egg Guide for New Drivers and The Good Egg Guide for Parents of New Drivers – are designed to act as a reference tool for new drivers and their parents, and to be “the perfect starting point on the journey to becoming a responsible, fully licensed driver”.

Thanks to the continued support of the Good Egg sponsor, The Arnold Clark Group, both new guides are being made available at the special price of 50p plus VAT per copy. The Arnold Clark sponsorship arrangement is also behind the competition for new drivers to win a new Fiat 500.

Alex Cannon, Good Egg Safety, said: “We’re delighted to announce that thanks to the continued support of The Arnold Clark Group, we’re able to offer our partners a significant discount on these life saving guides.

“We work with leading experts including Professor Stephen Stradling, Dr Neale Kinnear and Dr Sarah Jones to make sure that the information included is as accurate and up-to-date as possible.”

Talking about the parents’ guide, Professor Stradling from Edinburgh Napier University, said: “This excellent publication will give parents the wherewithal to guide their children through the dangers during their fraught transition from anxious youngster to a safe and careful driver."

The parents’ guide is also endorsed by the Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA). David Etheridge, CFOA lead for road safety, said: “This publication will allow parents to support their children in becoming a safe driver."

The special price of 50p plus VAT per copy is subject to a minimum quantity of 150 copies for orders placed before Friday 28 February. For more information or to order, either email or call the Good Egg Safety team on 0131 668 1880.
