Impact offers maintenance sessions

Impact Road Safety in Rochdale staged basic car maintenance and safety events for local residents, in partnership with the RAC, AA, Halfords and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.

Dave Godley, Impact team member, said: “As part of the driving test you now need to know basic car maintenance. If you take your vehicle for an MOT it would fail if you had an empty screen-wash reservoir. By informing members of the public how easy it is to identify where the filler caps are and how easy it is to check the levels, I hope they use the information and share it with others.”
