New campaign shows the cost of a ‘Two Second Mistake’

A new viral campaign which focuses on distractions faced by young drivers launched on 16 November and has so far clocked-up more than 2,000 views on YouTube.

The viral, ‘Two Second Mistake’, is a collaborative effort between the Highways Agency, Cambridgeshire County Council, Peterborough City Council, Luton Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council and Amey.

It features two young people driving to a party, but when the passenger receives a picture message on his phone and the driver demands to see it, they crash.
