‘Right Turn’ for young cyclists

Room 9 Media is set to publish a new activity book for young cyclists aged 10-13 years.

‘Right Turn’ covers the content of Level 2 Bikeability and gives children the opportunity to explore topics such as manoeuvres, road signs, maintenance and route planning. A strong safety emphasis features throughout.

Presented in a lively, accessible and contemporary style, the workbook provides an ideal accompaniment to a structured cycling programme. It can be completed individually or as part of an on-going classroom project.

John Billington, founder of Room 9 Media, said: “Right Turn is designed to give information, but most importantly to enable children to think about the relevant issues for themselves.

“As such we’ve tried to make the book as engaging as possible in order to maintain interest and focus.”

The resource is priced at 47p per copy, reducing to 42p for orders for 4,000+ copies (plus postage). The initial print run is scheduled for the second week of January 2013.
