Northern Ireland’s ‘frightening’ drink drive figures

10.07 | 10 July 2009 |

Assistant chief constable Duncan McCausland has described the number of people arrested for drink or drug driving in Northern Ireland this year as ‘frightening’.

The figures were released at the launch of Operation Surge, the summer anti-drink drive and road safety operation.
