The Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety is attending a week-long car seat event at the Stoneygate Children’s Centre in Preston.

‘Check it, don’t chance it’ will run 8-12 June to make sure parents are aware of their responsibilities, as well as the legal requirements of having the right restraints.

Rebecca Noblet, from the Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety, said: “We will be offering practical advice to ensure seats are safely fitted so parents are confident they have done everything they can to save their child’s life in the event of a crash.”
