All the content from Road Safety GB’s online PTW event – which drew to a close last week – will remain available to watch for the foreseeable future.

The online event, titled ‘PTW Riders: improving safety and reducing collisions and casualties’, was sponsored by Devitt Insurance and ran from 8-26 March.

Across the three weeks, more than 20 sessions took place, comprising a mix of pre-recorded videos and podcasts – as well as a live workshop and Question Time session.

All of this will remain available to watch on the event website for the foreseeable future.

The event proved to be popular, with the website receiving more than 5,300 views from road safety professionals and others with an interest in rider safety.

Many road safety professionals have also been in touch to say how much they enjoyed the content and format of the event – and to thank Road Safety GB for making it available to view by all, free of charge,

Edward Seaman, who led on delivering the PTW Riders event on behalf of Road Safety GB, said: “The three weeks have gone in a flash – but fear not, all content will remain available to watch for the foreseeable future.

“I’d like to pay tribute to all the presenters and other contributors who helped shape such a diverse and interesting agenda – and our sponsors, Devitt Insurance.

“But most importantly, I’d like to thank the road safety professionals – and others with an interest in rider safety – for joining in and watching the content.

“I hope, above all, you’ve found it useful.”

If you have any questions – or feedback you’d like to provide on the event – please email Edward Seaman.
