Revision guides updated for theory test change

15.13 | 31 August 2011 |

Focus Multimedia has updated its ‘Driving Test Success’ theory test revision products to reflect the imminent changes to the driving theory test.

From 1 January 2012 the DSA will stop publishing live multiple choice questions used in theory tests, but will instead make available a parallel set of questions, known as ‘Official Revision Questions’, to help candidates prepare. These revision questions will cover all of the same topics but may be worded slightly differently from those which candidates will be asked in their actual test.

The changes are intended to ensure that candidates can no longer simply memorise the correct answers, but will instead have to learn and understand the principles behind driving.

‘Driving Test Success’ is designed to enable candidates to study the latest edition of the Highway Code, learn and understand the principles behind all of the official revision questions, and develop their hazard perception skills. All of the updated products are available on multiple platforms including PC, MAC, DVD players and games consoles.
