The 2022 theme is ‘changing minds, changing behaviours’
The long-awaited 2022 edition of Project EDWARD gets underway on Monday (17 Oct) – and Road Safety News will be providing daily coverage throughout the week of action.
Project EDWARD has become one of the highlights of the road safety calendar in recent years – with organisers describing it as “the biggest platform for showcasing good practice in road safety in the UK”.
- Live coverage: Project EDWARD day one (from 6am on 17.10)
The 2022 week of action aims to reflect the interconnecting pillars of the Safe System approach, through the theme ‘changing minds, changing behaviour’.
At the heart of the week are three Project EDWARD road trips. The three vehicles will criss-cross their way around the UK, visiting a host of different locations where events are taking place.
The event will also feature a daily broadcast at 7pm. As well as interviews and highlights from the road trips, the broadcasts will also be sharing other content from across the country.
Meanwhile, Wednesday (19 Oct) is National Safe Speed day when, as the name suggests, the focus will be on promoting safe speeds.
