Road safety viral marketing specialists acquired

ST16, which has specialist experience and expertise in the production of road safety viral films, has been acquired by the AIM listed company Aeorema Communications.

ST16 was founded in 2000 by Jeremy Stinton and Simon Crofts and has produced a number of viral films for public sector clients, including road safety teams. In total its films have achieved more than six million views online and won awards either side of the Atlantic.

Mike Hale, non-executive chairman of Aeorema Communications, said: “We looked at a number of companies that would be compatible culturally and creatively with our current team. ST16 was the standout. They have done a range of superb work and have category leading skills in viral.”

ST16 will continue to run as a separate business. Jeremy Stinton will join Aeorema Communications’ management committee and Simon Crofts will be head of creative at ST16.
