Two of Road Safety GB’s Corporate Awards – Aisin RoadTrace and Clearview Intelligence – have seen their commitment and contribution to road safety recognised.
The two organisations were presented with Road Safety GB Corporate Awards during the 2025 National Road Safety Conference (4-5 Nov).
This first winner, Aisin RoadTrace (pictured above), was celebrated for offering innovative, risk-based analysis of road networks, leveraging real driving behaviour data to identify high-risk areas even before crashes occur using connected vehicle data.
Since the emergence of connected vehicles in the mass market over the last decade, they have been at the forefront of developing new ways to enhance road safety.
Their technology computes, clusters, and prioritises millions of raw connected vehicle data points to highlight the most severe Areas for Investigation for local councils and road operators. This approach has been validated and accepted, demonstrating a strong correlation between harsh braking clusters and real collisions on UK roads.
They have been working closely with local authorities, Transport Scotland, National Highways and the Department for Transport. These collaborations ensure that their insights are tailored to meet the specific needs and challenges of those responsible for UK roads, fostering safer roads nationwide.
A second award was presented to Clearview Intelligence, celebrating their aim of making places safer, greener and smarter by providing a range of data and technology solutions.

Their solutions range from route safety schemes, traffic flow monitoring and congestion management, through to journey time and air quality monitoring as well as car park monitoring and guidance.
These solutions are achieved through their Data Management Platform, ‘Insight’, a suite of focused applications in a single platform designed for collection, management and analysis of data.
They also provide a range of Active Travel Management Systems. Connex Active is an accurate real-time pedestrian and bicycle classifier for active travel detection and analysis. It utilises the latest LIDAR technologies to provide a non-invasive detection and classification solution.
Perhaps their most revered product is the Active Road Studs, solar and intelligent, which have been proven to increase road visibility and decrease night-time collisions by over 70% with reliable, all-year-round performance. Solar studs also provide a carbon effective alternative to street lighting.
