RSGB SE region to host mini conference

The Road Safety GB South East region is inviting road safety professionals to attend a one-day event, taking place next week, which aims to develop collaboration between local authorities and wider partners.

The event takes place at the Basingstoke headquarters of National Highways on 10 July, starting at 10am.

The agenda includes presentations from Sam Merison, chair of Road Safety GB, who will explore the RSGB Academy Safe Systems course.

Other topics to be covered in the morning session include putting Vision Zero into practice and post-collision response.

In the afternoon, Kumar Niketan will present the PACTS Manifesto – while Olly Tayler will promote The Honest Truth.

There will also be an update on the National Road Safety Conference.

RSGB SE is running a ‘Bake Off’ challenge, to be judged by a special panel with a prize for the winning bake.

Proceeds from the Bake Off will go to RoadPeace.
